IA - Inspection Schedule (45 Days) for AC-DC Siemens EMU Rake

1 Check While Rake is Rolling    
1.1 Check and ensure locking and unlocking of BL/switch button after operating. OK
 
1.2 Check and ensure proper operation of all switches (BL switches ToggeT switches, push button). OK
 
2 On Stationay Mode    
2.1 Check and ensure cleanliness and crushing of limit switches interlocks and rotary switch of BL box. OK
 
2.2 Check and ensure tightness of all connections. OK
 
2.3 Check and ensure Indivisual Panto / VCB set & trip command. OK
 
2.4 Check the functioning of PA and Intercom. OK
 
2.5 Check and ensure proper functioning of all indications in fault indication panel. OK
 
2.6 Ensure stand by supply availibilities for control, VCB ONIOFF, Panto up/dw OLR EP and head light, blinker, tail light, flashing light. OK
 
2.7 Check and ensure proper rating of all MCB's and their electrical connections. OK
 
2.8 Ensure quality sound from horn from each Miman and Guard side horn paddle/ switch. OK
 
2.9 Ensure efective securing of horn paddle and its angle from floor to avoid any inconvenience to running staff. OK
 
2.10 Ensure lubrication of servomotor of the wiper assembly & testing of smooth operation.(during Monsoon) OK

5 Parking Brake    
5.1 Check and ensure the functioning of parking brake switches & gauge Application: 0 kg/cm2
Release: 5 kg/cm2

5.2 Ensure physically gripping and releasing of brake blocks on DTC and NDTC. OK
 
5.3 Ensure intactness of fixation arrangment of parking brake. OK
